3.Kia India's subcompact SUV jumped to the third straight position with 6,627 units sold in May. Kia sold 7,724 units of the Sonet in April. Despite the challenges of Corona, Kia managed to contain the shortfall in sales with monthly sales falling by around 14 percent.

4. Tata Nexon has made another surprising entry in the list of top 10 best selling cars in India. This year, compared to April, the sales figures for May have seen a very small decline. This sub-compact hatchback car has fared better than the other cars on this list.

5. MARUTI DZIRE sedan is at the 5th position. Maruti sold 5819 units of Dzire car in the month of May. This is lower than the 14,073 units sold last month.

6.Hyundai Venue has occupied the sixth position in this list, dethroning the Creta SUV. The Venue emerged as the best-selling subcompact SUV in April. However, it lost to Nexon and Sonnet in May.

7.Maruti Baleno which was once one of the top-3 selling cars in the country. It reached the 7th position in the list in May. Maruti sold 4,803 units of the Baleno last month, which is the lowest in a very long period since April last year.

8.Kia Seltos SUV stood at the 8th position. This SUV is the main rival of the best-selling Creta. Seltos SUV initially gave a big competition to Hyundai's 5 seater SUV Creta. But gradually she fell behind in this race.

9.Hyundai's GRAND I10 NIOS has dropped 2 places to 9th position in the May list. Hyundai sold 3804 units of the GRAND I10 NIOS hatchback in May.

10.MAHINDRA BOLERO Company sold 3517 units of Bolero SUV in May. This SUV is one of Mahindra's most popular cars in India. The company is all set to launch this popular car in a facelifted avatar.
