RTE Admission 2022 First Phase Announced Check if your child got admission.The online process for admission for the year 2022-23 was conducted under RTE. The admission in the first round was announced on Tuesday.  A total of 64,463 seats were allotted in the first round against a total of 71,396 seats under RTE.  The Department of Education has asked all the allotted students to complete the process of admission in the school assigned to them by May 5, 2022.

Of the applications filed in the state under RTE, 1,76,405 were valid.  While 16,629 applications were invalid for some reason.  However, only 71,396 seats were to be allotted under RTE.  Then in the first round on Tuesday, 64,463 seats were allotted for admission.  While 6933 seats remained vacant due to lack of selection.  That means students will be given a chance to re-select the school in the second round for the vacancies in the next second round.


 Students who have been admitted will have to complete the procedure of fixing admission in the school till 5th May.  If the students have got admission in the school within the time limit but the school has not taken action to fix the admission by clicking on the admit button then the place is vacant.  Assuming that in the next round another student will be allotted admission for the same place. Difficulty in downloading the admit card on the first day.

 With the announcement of the first round of admissions in RTE on Tuesday, there were complaints that students were having difficulty in downloading their admit cards.  There was a problem of not being able to download his admit card from RTE portal.  In case of doubt, the District Education Officer's Office should be contacted immediately.  If the guardian has not come to the school for admission, it is necessary to get the contact number of the guardian from the list and help in getting admission.
