The country has seen a gradual increase in purchases of electric vehicles and most of the automobile companies have been seen launching their new vehicles in the electric segment, as well as Ola's Ola Scooter and Simple Energy's Simple One electric scooter in the two-wheeler electric segment. Both have their own distinct features.

  Let's find out which of the two scooters is more powerful. The biggest doubts people have about electric scooters in the market are their speed and pickup.  According to the information so far, 

the Ola scooter can reach a speed of 0 to 45 kmph in just 4.5 seconds.  While Simple Enrgy claims that their Simple One can reach a speed of up to 50 kmph in 3.6 seconds.  When it comes to the maximum speed range of Ola Scooter and Simple One, both have a top speed of 100 kmph.  In this way, both the scooters compete with each other in terms of top speed.  If we talk about Ola Scooter, it is believed that it can cover a distance of up to 150 km in a single charge.  The Bangalore startup, which built the Simple One, claims that it can travel up to 240 km on a single charge. How successful an electric scooter will be in the market depends on how quickly and in what way it charges.  Both companies say they will set up charging points across the country for charging their scooters, which will charge these scooters fast. 

 Ola Scooter claims that this fast charger can be used to cover a distance of 75 km in 18 minutes.  While Simple One will be able to go 75 km in 30 minutes with such a fast charger.  Both of these scooters can also be charged at home. The teaser of Ola Scooter showed that this scooter has an underseat boot space capacity of 50 liters, which is suitable for putting two helmets at a time.  While the Simple One has a capacity of 30 liters.  As per the information received so far, the Ola scooter will have a 3.4kwh battery.  While Simple One has a 4.8kwh battery.  Apart from this both the scooters will have a 7-inch touch screen display that will come with 4G connectivity.  Booking of Ola has started at Rs 499.

More than 1 lakh people booked it within 24 hours of the start of booking.  While booking of Simple One has started from the evening of 15th August.  The company has set a booking price of Rs 1947 for it.  Both the companies will give a refund if the scooter is not booked.  Prices for both the scooters were also announced on the day of the launch, with the Ola S1 scooter starting at Rs 85099 and the S1 Pro scooter priced at Rs 110149.  The Simple One scooter is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh.
