The decision will place a financial burden of about Rs 5 crore per month on the state government. The benefit of this decision is estimated at a total of 2,31,8 in which 4,11,15 state government officials / employees / panchayat employees and 2,50,600 pensioners will get additional benefit of dearness allowance.
