Gandhinagar: Big news has come out regarding the grade pay of primary teachers in the state. The government has shown leniency on the issue of reducing 4200 grade pay for primary teachers and the decision to pay 2800 grade pay has been postponed and now the government has announced to keep 4200 grade pay unchanged. Deputy Secretary of Education B.V. Rathwa has canceled the old circular.

A circular to reduce the grade pay of primary teachers has been postponed. The decision was taken after the fourth meeting between the government and the education union. Which is to benefit more than 65 thousand teachers in the state. Thus, the grade pay of 4200 teachers will remain the same. Earlier, three meetings were held between the Education Minister and the teachers' union over the grade-pay dispute of more than 65,000 teachers in Gujarat. However, the dispute could not be resolved.
